One Word at a Time

Some days as a writer are easier than others.

I have moments where I can pour out between 2-4,000 words in a sitting.

And then there are days when I’m struggling to break 500 words.

Today is one of those struggle-bus days.

Ugh.

  1. I just found this great author quote I hope it inspires you! –

“What I try to do is write. I may write for two weeks ‘the cat sat on the mat, that is that, not a rat,’…. And it might be just the most boring and awful stuff. But I try. When I’m writing, I write. And then it’s as if the muse is convinced that I’m serious and says, ‘Okay. Okay. I’ll come.”

    1. Thanks for sharing that, Hesterjones! I do sometimes feel like I have to power through those days of creating awful prose to get the muse to pay attention and help me out!
